Cape Wine Academy - 30 Years' excellence in Wine Education

Cape Wine Masters - 2006 graduation. The South African wine industry founded the Cape Wine and Spirit Education Trust in 1984. In 2003, the industry granted the Cape Wine Academy the right to take over the examination of candidates for Cape Wine Masters (CWM).

The CWA formed a joint venture with the Institute of Cape Wine Masters to oversee and run future examinations.

As part of the requirements to qualify as a Cape Wine Master, candidates should have submitted an assignment that meets the requirements set by the committee.

Copies of assignments have been held in the SAWIS library, Stellenbosch, but in order to make these more accessible to the industry, since 2006 copies can also be viewed on the Cape Wine Academy website, and are listed below:
